We are more than half way through The Everlasting Man. We will probably finish it in September. Then we are  starting a new book in October. A lot of folks are asking about Distributism We’re thinking of reading The Outline of Sanity next. It is a 200-page book of short essays and could be nicely divided up into five monthly readings.

We could throw in one of Chesterton’s fictional works before we start The Outline of Sanity… Something like The Napoleon of Notting Hill…and take a month or two on that.

There’s still time to start the American Chesterton Society (The Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton) Book Club of The Everlasting Man for those who may be interested. There have only been three one-hour zoom meetings. They have gotten through Chapter I of Part I,  The Man in the Cave. It is held weekly at 5:00 pm Wednesday evenings. They also record the meetings in case you are interested in listening to them after the fact.
