Brown Bag Lunch Project

The Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament is very thankful to St. Stephen parishioners for our help with their Brown Bag Lunch Project. Our parish has been supplying them with 240 lunches each month for the homeless in Sacramento.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who help with organizing the store room, bagging, transporting, and with supplying food! As our needs for donations are ongoing, please continue to help keep our shelves stocked. Below is a lift of the food needed.

Must be non-perishable
Tuna, chicken, salmon, other easy-to-open, single portion meats, or lunchables
Apple sauce cups or other fruit cups
Healthy snacks like fruit rolls, breakfast bars, soft granola bars
Crackers or chips
Deserts like cookies
Bottles of water
Plastic utensils, packages of lunch bags, and napkins
Jars of peanut butter, jelly/preserves

Cash donations also welcome at the office or bookstore
