Sacramento Chesterton Society 7:30 pm (after Mass & Fatima Procession)

We will continue our reading of Chesterton’s The Catholic Church and Conversion. I have not found a good online copy so I will send a pdf of the current chapter each month (see attachment). This month we are on the third chapter, The Real Obstacles.
And just for fun, HERE is a link to the second story in The Club of Queer Trades. Let’s see where this leads. This story is a lot of fun.
For those of you that would like a hard copy, Tish has copies of the book in the bookstore. The book has an introduction by Dale Ahlquist.
Also, it is now less than two months until our 2022 Chesterton Event with Dale Ahlquist and Chuck Chalberg at St. Stephen’s. This being the 100th anniversary of Chesterton’s conversion to the Catholic Church, the topic will be on Conversion.
This will be one of the last (if not THE last) appearance of Mr. Chalberg as GKC. At the national Chesterton Conference this year Chuck officially passed the baton on to a new Chesterton impersonator.
So this will be a very special event. Be sure to mark you calendar for Saturday evening, October 22.
