SECURITY CONCERNS

I do not anticipate Roe v Wade protests affecting our parish, but I do encourage parishioners to maintain situational awareness, and to exercise due caution and prudence, especially this Sunday and in the weeks to come. For helpful reference and if necessary, here is the non- emergency line for the Sacramento Sheriff: 916-874-5115. Our address is 5461 44th Street, Sacramento, 95820.

In addition to other security measures that we are planning, we will be beginning to lock the campus up at 8 pm every night, unless some parish event or activity is taking place.

NEW WHITE MARIAN VESTMENTS

These arrived during Lent, beautiful new white vestments for use primarily on Marian feast days, first Saturdays, and other Saturdays of Our Lady. The work was done by Altar Worthy, which is a Seattle based vestments company run by Emily Uhl, one of our FSSP parishioners in that city.

We are very grateful to the benefactors of these, and the other vestments that arrived over the past few months (red, green, and violet). Please keep all of the parish’s benefactors in your prayers!

This white set will be used for the first time this upcoming Friday evening (May 13) as the Fatima Procession will follow that Mass.
